Kenmore's SafeCam Program
Kenmore SafeCam is the Kenmore Police Department's newest crime investigation and prevention tool.
It allows you, the residents and businesses of the Village of Kenmore, to register your outside security cameras which may help deter crime and assist the Kenmore Police Department (KPD) with their crime prevention strategies in your neighborhood.
Registration
Registration is simple and only takes a few minutes of time. You need to provide basic contact information and where the cameras are located. There is no cost for registration and your personal information will be kept confidential. You may cancel your registration at any time by sending an email to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Verification
Once you complete the registration process a member from the Police Department will contact you by telephone to request a visit to your residence/business to verify the information you have provided.
Call to Duty
The Kenmore Police Department will only contact you if there is a criminal incident in the vicinity of your security cameras. Police personnel may request to view and copy video images captured by your camera to assist in the investigation of a crime.
Registration Application
The SafeCam application can be found by clicking the "Register" tab found to the left under the menu: Police/Safecam/Register:

Beginning May 8, 2017, the Village will start a new Recycle Program. During the Week of April 24th, a Recycle TOTE will be delivered to all residential properties. Only 1 tote is being delivered to each property, whether it is a single residence or a double.
This new Recycle Tote is a smaller version of your Garbage Tote and has a green lid to easily identify it for RECYCLE USE ONLY. Please place all of your recyclables in this tote, including paper products.
An Information Packet has been included with your new Recycle Tote, including a revised Recycle/Garbage Guide, a Calendar detailing when to put your Recycle Tote out for collection, and general rules governing recyclables. We encourage you to read through this information and to keep this information handy for future reference.
Because these Recycle Totes hold more, the Village will be collecting Recyclables EVERY OTHER WEEK beginning the week of May 8th. There will be no change to your Collection day and Garbage/Trash collection will continue to take place every week.
Please remember not to place any trash/garbage inside your Recycle Tote. The Village will not collect garbage/trash from a Recycle Tote and we cannot accept Recyclables which have been co-mingled with trash/garbage.
Your blue tote is recyclable. If you wish to recycle your blue bin, you may place it beside your Recycle Tote for collection. You are not required to return your blue bin, however and may keep it for your own use.
