February 8, 2023. The Village of Kenmore Board of Trustees appointed Louis J. Cercone as a trustee to fill a vacancy at its 2/7/23 meeting. Mr. Cercone fills the vacancy created by former trustee Katherine Bestine's resignation. Ms. Bestine has been appointed as Justice for the Kenmore Court. Justice Bestine, an attorney, was a village trustee for 23 years. Trustee Cercone is a teacher and also serves on the board of the Knights of Columbus. He was sworn into office by Justice Bestine. Mayor Mang offered his congratulations to Trustee Cercone and said that he's looking forward to working with him. The Village advertised for the position and received many applications.
